1. Classes
- Fundamentals of Drawing (it is NOT a beginners course... I am totally screwed. the art supplies include charcoals, ink, and watercolour. I can't even draw with a PENCIL!!! Definitely praying on that one.)
- Opportunities in Business (have yet to take this course)
- Fundamentals of French I (LOVE the French language, and the course is a communicative learning course, so I am learning basically by not thinking or speaking English as much as possible! LOOOVEE my professor, Mme. Dravk)
- Principles of Management (Mr. Miller is developing the CEO in me!)
- Math for Management (so far, so good.... love the professor. This is actually my largest class with 24 students.)
- First Year Seminar: The History of 'Race' in America (I LOVE my professor. He really listens to all 18 of us students, and he asks thought provoking questions that dig into my cranium. He talks UBER fast, but I am enjoying him!)
Work Study
- I work at the Falcon Express... The best way to describe this student cafe is that it's a combination of and Italian restaurant,Subway, Panera, and McDonalds. I worked the grill twice this week, and only once did I make a mistake by serving raw chicken tenders to a faculty member (ooops...!). What can I say!? I received NO training whatsoever. Also, I felt uber diva icky working there because...well, Chimene just doesn't do that kind of work... However, in my most despondent hour, the LORD Himself showed me that this dark cloud called "Workstudy", there is a silver lining: THE FINE UPPERCLASSMEN come to eat there RELIGIOUSLY! WOW. I get to make the soccer captain's panini any day of the week!
My legs are sooo toned because of all of the walking I have been doing, and because of the lack of ALOT of "junk" in my diet... I'm practically a vegetarian now!
...or at least until the bacon special is back at Lottie (the cafeteria)...
