Sophormorism

I am officially a sophomore. I finished Freshman year at Messiah with the following grades:

Intro to Poetry A
Economics of Social Issues B
Financial Accounting B
French 102 B+
CCC A
Oral Communications A-
GPA: 3.18
This was my busiest semester thusfar, but with God, I was able to do it and do it all in excellence. Next semester, I will be the PR and Liason on the Multicultural Council for the African Student Union (ASU). I am excited about having this role because I am passionate about sharing the richness of different cultures with others. I will also have the pleasure of working alongside the implementer for the Diversity Plan at school. I am now doing research of diversity implementations in other schools/ companies domestically and internationally. I'm excited to work with professor Bernardo Michael in working to bring more diversity to Messiah.
As you know, my school's SIFE team won regionals, meaning we received the opportunity ot compete against 168 other schools in Minneapolis, MN. That was an amazing experience which made me appreciative of being an International Business major, but also appreciative of being an artist as well. The competition was STIFF. Alot of schools are doing some amazing things in teh world...I think it's about time Messiah caught up! Several common threads I noticed in the top placing schools (NOT Messiah) are as follows: embracing multiculturalism and diversity around them and around the world, embracing that the business world is functioning more on technology than ever before, and they worked cohesively in excellence as a team in their projects.
